2017 Conference on Health and Development

Taipei, June 8-9, 2017
This is the second joint conference organized by Academia Sinica and Washington University in St. Louis on health economics. The last conference was held in 2012 with the theme being “Socioeconomic Causes and Consequences of Public Health.” The aim of the 2017 conference is to bring together researchers to discuss the role of health and health policy on economic development.
The conference solicits papers, theoretical and/or empirical, in relation to health economics and economic development. Researchers and students are cordially invited to submit papers for presentation at the conference.
The deadline for submitting an extended abstract, preferably with a full paper, is February 26, 2017. Notification of acceptance will be issued on March 15, 2017.
